HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL . . Contributed By Chaplain Howard Flexer On Wednesday, November 27, 2002 As we who say a prayer at our meal. Let us say one for our fellow Veterans who are spending their Thanksgiving in places where we have spent it before. I'm thankful for all my fellow MARINES my Family,Friends, and most of all knowing God has been with me even though sometimes I wonder why. Thankful for Living where I do as when I call my local Radio asking for Turkeys Etc. I am in wonder on how fast they come to the rescue. When I started with my AMVETS post I told them I was going to play a small part in our drive this year, It ended up I got the greatest number of turkeys 16 when I asked for around 6 or 8 I told them there would be no homeless turkeys HA! God Bless all our Veterans those before & those after. HAPPY THANKSGIVING, SEMPER FI. With God Then&Now Chaplain
