War, It solves nothing. It just kills those who . . Contributed By Chaplain Howard Flexer On Tuesday, January 07, 2003 Had nothing to do with its start. Our services should be there just to let the world know We will defend ourselves if needed. We do not nor did we ever start a war. I'm not a wimp I've seen first hand what a war does to those who do the dirty work and their loved one who pay the price of WAR forever. A good many of us here still pay that price as all combat Veterans have. I remember as a young boy in the Bronx a Man down the block who would walk down the street shaking like he still was firing a POM-POM gun on his old ship. I think from then on I thought of war as an ugly thing. Please anyone who reads this and has the power to prevent one should do their best.
