All we ask is that you somehow find a way to participate. I know last year we contacted you a little late for the National HCV March on Washington; Hopefully, we are giving you enough notice this year. Hepatitis C's Movement for Awareness March on DC May 23, 2003 Most Americans with HCV Are Veterans. 1,410,750 are Vietnam War Vets. More need for service connection for U.S. Military Veterans because of "AIRGUN/JET INJECTOR INOCULATIONS" we were given in basic training, before going overseas http://hcvets.com/index.html UNDISPUTABLE DOCUMENTATION was presented both at the Veterans Administration's, Department of Health & Human Resources, to members of the various committees both Houses of Congress, and other governmental agencies. The documentation showed the growing statistics and more need for service connection for U.S. Military Veterans because of "AIRGUN/JET INJECTOR INOCULATIONS" they were given in basic training, before going overseas, AND AT THE SAME TIME GIVEN TO PUBLIC GRAMMAR SCHOOL CHILDREN; and the need for the Social Security Administration to have HCV declared a "PRESUMPTIVE DISABILITY" for Civilians. 5,126,344 Americans with HCV http://www.census.gov/main/www/cen2000.html From: Norm Seiff, Asst. War Protesters' abuse of soldiers
. . Contributed By Lindsay On Friday, January 31, 2003
My name is Lindsay and I'm a freshman journalism major at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. I'm planning to write an article in a magazine published by my school on some of the terrible things war protesters did to Viet. soldiers such as calling them names and throwing things at them. I want to reach out to students in my school currently protesting the possibility of war with Iraq. I hope to let them know their actions may have a very negative effect on soldiers and their families by using examples of what effect protests had on Viet. Vets. I also would like them to think twice about spreading their message by doing cruel things to soldiers if we do go to war. If any vets with stories of cruel things done to them by protesters could email me I'd greatly appreciate it! God Bless!

Todays Sad News brings Yeterday Sad News.
. . Contributed By Chaplain Howard Flexer On Saturday, February 01, 2003
As I watched the TV, like others did. I just sat there, But when I woke my Wife to tell her I started to cry. I was wondering why I did that then and not when I first learned it. You see today is my daughters 21st Birthday and my mind when back to my 17th birthday. It was November 22, 1963 when JFK was shot. That day became a sad day every year in that fact. So I guess I was crying for her knowing that she perhaps will feel that way. I will try to make sure she has a good time if I can. I just wanted to share this with all of you it helps me deal with it. Semper Fi, With God, As they are, T&N Chaplain

. . Contributed By Sgt. Rod "Smitty" Smith On Tuesday, February 04, 2003
The following list is of symptoms of PTSD that Vietnam vets were never told existed. This list came from a V/A/ sattelite office. Depression, sleep disturbance, anger, survivor guilt, fits of rage, anxiety, memory impairment, flashbacks, negative self image, tendency to react under stress with survival tactics, loss of interest in work and activities, difficulty with authority figures, problems with intimate relationships, fantasies of retaliation and destruction, emotional distance from others, inability to talk of war experiences, distrust of govt., hyper-sensitivity to injustice, sucidial feelings and thoughts, avoidance of activities that arouse memories of traumas in the war zone! These were never told to the average Vietnam vet, so here they are! Use these symptoms to help with a claim for PTSD and good luck to all, Semper Fi!
