I am a graduate student doing my thesis on Vietnam. I think it's one of the most important ERA's in American history. I am looking for veterans interested in giving me insight on what Vietnam was like before Tet hit and after. I feel that Tet was a turning point in the mind of soldiers. I will deeply appreciate any insights, thoughts or memories. THANK YOU for everything you did for our country.

Bruce Barr: looking for anyone who knew him

My husband was named after a man that was a close friend of his father's during the war. He was killed near DaNang. His father remembers him as Bruce Barr, Marine, from Texas, let for Vietnam in Sept 1965 from Camp Pendleton (San Diego) and was killed in Oct or Nov 1965. He was 2nd Batt 7th Marines. We have searched the wall and are unable to find him. Can you help?

The last day I saw him he was leaving for Nam at Ft Hood, Texas.- He was special forces I think and never heard from him again. Ron was like a brother to me and a lost 'son' to my parents. He graduated from Belton High, Belton Texas 1966 His parents were deceased and he lived with his brother before going in the service. I remember a tall,dark haired handsome boy who teased me relentlessly. I adored him then and have an empty spot in my heart not knowing what happened to him.If anyone knows anything about him please contact me. He was my brothers best friend. Any lead is appreciated

I posted earlier and have a new email address. I am a graduate student doing a history on Vietnam before Tet and Vietnam after Tet. I would love to get some insights and perspectives from Veterans.
