I apploigise for the remark "war that shouldnt have happened". If anyone was offended by this remark it was meant as it says, but a statement of my view that the war was on both sides of the world. From films I have seen this is the impression I got that the american troop was fight in vietnam aswell as at home, with people who didnt understand. I am very interested in the vietnam conflict and one day I would like to visit vietnam to see for myself.

WAYNE ERIC RISNER-03/24/1950 to 03/26/1968

Wayne, It seems like only yesterday, that we received the news, that you were killed in Vietnam. The whole neighborhood in Philly, where we were raised stood still. A day rarely goes by that I don't think of you.In Ocean City, I see you wherever I go.Your memory will live deep in my heart, as long as I live.It will be then, that we will meet again. When driving through w Oak Lane, I see you at the corner, and like usual I'm laughing at something crazy, that you're doing. You were an amazing person, son, brother, and friend. You were so sincere, yet so full of life, and laughter.I talk to your brother, occasionally, and it gives us both joy, just to talk about you and remember, even the little things.I Love You, Wayne--until we meet again. Styme

Veteran Postings? Searching for other Websites
. . Contributed By Robyn Dunning On Sunday, April 27, 2003
I have posted a couple times here about writing my graduate thesis on Vietnam, particularly concerning the Tet Offensive of 1968. I have been getting amazing responses. Does anyone know of other message boards I could post on located on the web? I really am finding that the perspective of the Vietnam veteran is the ONLY way I want to go with my research. The veterans have such amazing stories and they are so IMPORTANT! If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it so much. Thank You!
