Blue Star
. . Contributed By Maybell On Friday, June 20, 2003
I still have the James Klimo bracelet I got as a kid. I wore it for years - wore right through the nickel on the inside - until I got a white sticker with a blue star on it in the mail along with a new bracelet. In my old age, I've forgotten what the star signifies. Can someone please refresh my memory? Many thanks

Vietnam vets and Type 2 Diabetes
. . Contributed By John K. Sweetman On Monday, June 23, 2003
If you are a Vietnam veteran and you have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes be sure to contact your local VA representative. You are entitled to free medical supplies and disability compensation. Type 2 Diabetes is now presumed to be a result of exposure to Agent Orange and it is considered to be a service connected disability. It is estimated that up to 10% of surviving Vietnam veterans suffer from this affliction. Pass it on.
