Looking for anyone who knew Joe or served with him in Vietnam. He was killed in Quang Ngai, S. Vietnam, May 20, 1967. Our family was changed forever. We have not forgotten him, and love him and miss him very much. After 36 years of suppressing my sadness, I am beginning my search to find anyone who knew him and served with him. He was awarded the Bronze Star with "V" insignia for Valor. My family lives in San Jose', California. He was my big brother.

In Memory of James Patrick Ward, Bloodbrother
. . Contributed By Jim Linn On Thursday, August 28, 2003
Age 5, in Japan, we'd seen a movie about Indian bloodbrothers. I still bear the scar on my finger which ensures I'll never forget Jimmy, my dear friend and bloodbrother. Proud Green Beret, like your dad. I wish you and the more than 58,000 others had lived, but thank you all for your sacrifice. And thanks, too, to all the great American men and women who served our nation when it called. We are forever in your debt!
