D Troop became F Troop in about May of 70 and moved to Frenzell-Jones, then to Lai Khe. Please guys, time is growing shorter by the day!

CPL. Thomas Milton Gouldin was KIA on 11-18-1969. He was in unit 196lib. CPL. Gouldin was from Woodford,VA . Do you have any info you could share on this brave young man?

For thirty-three years i've wanted to let his wife, daughter, and parents know that he spoke of them often. Don was my partner, we were corpsmen with Mike Co. 3rd. bn. 7th marine reg. 1st. marine division. In 1970 Scott was killed on night ambush. The night is burned in my memory forever. He was a great person and was very mindful of his loved ones back home. For ever remembering. Stanley Page

I share a birthday with this Hero.Sept. 13th 1939.He would be 64 years old tomorrow.There are no personal comments against his name on The Wall website, which I think is very sad.I visited The Wall in May of this year and left his details at the bottom of the segment that brars his name,so at least he may have had some recognition for his sacrifice.Rest in peace Thomas.

Vietnam vets and Type 2 Diabetes

It is estimated that up to 10% of surviving Vietnam veterans suffer with Type 2 Diabetes. This affliction is now presumed to be a result of exposure to Agent Orange and it is considered to be a service connected disability. If you have been diagnosed with this condition you are entitled to free medical supplies and care relating to your condition and monthly disability compensation. Contact your local VA representative or the Disabled American Veterans for information on how to initiate your claim.
