Veterans Day November 11th
. . Contributed By Terry Boone On Saturday, November 08, 2003
This Veteran's day on PBS, there will be a documentary called "Be good, Smile Pretty" about the search of a daughter whose father was killed in Vietnam when she was three months old and her effort to find out everything about her father. 58 thousand plus lost their lives in Vietnam and so did 20,000 plus children lose one of their parents in that war. My prayers got out not only to the men and women that died in VN, but to their kids and families that live with that pain today and not ever knowing them.

Anyone remember "STU"
. . Contributed By Cindy Palmer On Sunday, November 09, 2003
Hello, I am looking for friends and comrades of my brother, Wesley Shelton. He was in the Americal Division in Chu Lai. Wes was killed while on a flare mission on October 18, 1971 along with three others. A Mr. Pate survived. Wes always wore a white t-shirt not green. You may have known him as "STU". He was a door gunner, 19 years old from Joliet, Illinois. Anyone who remembers him would you please contact me? Thanks and God bless you all!

Happy Veteran's Day

The war never ends. My wife announced she's off to a happy life with someone she met in a bar and I will be spending tomorrow all day at the local V A about my disability.
