***A CHRISTMAS WISH***
. . Contributed By VC On Sunday, December 07, 2003
This is the season of "miracles". So, I would like to use my "Christmas Wish" for peace & the safe return of each & every soldier. May each of you be strong, encouraged & know that others are standing with you & supporting you in all ways! Also those at home. My "wish" includes peace for all of you that are hurting, lonely, & confused this time of year, as well as all year long. Please know, there are so many that care! Many feel loss, get lonely, become confused, & will not truly ever understand all things. So take time to try to let another listen, encourage, & help you. Emails are welcome. "Peace Be Still" So please be strong, stay encouraged, & give someone a chance to listen.

. . Contributed By Gary Thomas On Tuesday, December 09, 2003
'Wag the Dog East' & West Journalism with a purpose? Yes, of course it was. Main Point: Remember the Chinese government required those 24 captives to leave China on a COMMERCIAL ( as opposed to military ) flight out? This is a hopeful hint about MORE they'll let out ( in 2004 )?

my Uncle Charles Earl Schoolcraft
. . Contributed By Gary Thomas On Tuesday, December 09, 2003
My Uncle Charles Earl Schoolcraft was supposedly run over & killed by a US Army half-track armored truck at Tuyen Duc on Feb. 17, '69 (Chinese New Years Day). His wife (my Aunt Sherry) supposedly died when her car went over a cliff in Ogden Canyon in '70 or '71. Uncle Charles' 'brother' is an Admiral in the US Navy today. Hmm?

Sergeant J.L. Watkins
. . Contributed By Jean Faulk On Friday, December 12, 2003
Am looking for anyone who knew my Dad for a book I am writing on him. He served proudly for 20 years in the U.S. Army, originally in the Field Artillery and then in the Signal Corps. He was in Vietnam in 1965-66 and died of cancer from his exposure to Agent Orange. I have great memories of him, but am looking for military memories that as a child, I would not remember. Anyone out there remember him?
