Jesse Andrew Pyle, MACV Compound 21, dod 2/7/65 . . Contributed By Tariesa On Friday, May 03, 2002 I am looking for anyone that knew or served with my father, Jesse Andrew Pyle. He was killed during the attack at Pleiku on February 7, 1965. I recently had the miracle of connecting with someone that was with my father the day he was killed. It has helped me to put back missing pieces of information that I never knew. Hopefully I can connect with others out there that knew him.
USAF SSGT Jimmy A. Coley ,Pleiku, July '68- 69 . . Contributed By Teri Coley On Friday, July 26, 2002 My father served from July 68-69 in Pleiku with the 6994th Security, Det. 3. He was a "ditty-bop" on recon flights. My dad doesn't talk about in time in Vietnam much. He has a difficult time watching T.V programs that deal with Vietnam. I am so proud that my dad served, and deeply thankful that he returned home to his family. I would like to find USAF members who may have served with him in Vietnam. I think it would be very healing for my dad to hear from those who went through the same things he went through. God bless the Veterans.

6th Bn. 14th Arty, Pleiku 68-69 . . Contributed By Phil Crowley "Country" On Sunday, November 10, 2002 I am trying to find the whereabouts of 3 people; Renee Castillo, we served together and I lost track of him after he was injured in an APC accident. I believe he was from Miami, Fla. I would also like to find John Billups, I believe he was from Richmond, Va. I have thought about you guys a lot a have often wondered what happened to you after Nam. I was with Hq. Btry, Renee; I think you were going out to one of the firing batteries when the APC you were in hit a mine. John, you and I served on guard duty many nights on Artillery Hill. They nicknamed me "Country" because I was from Georgia. I started out as an armorer at the arms room. I am also looking for a little orphan girl that spent Thanksgiving '67 on the hill with us. All I have is a picture of her and myself together. I can't for the life of me remember her name, but she was from the orphanage in Pleiku. I would love to know if she made it out alive after the 69 TET and where she is. If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. "Remember the Hill"
