I am so thankful to say that you fought for people you didn't even know for freedom in the vietnam. You are a true hero in my heart, and my eyes and I am glad to say again that you are a great person in my heart. Thank you.

I Know that Thomas is a hero. He rolled on a grenade, took the full force of it, saved five people, and gave them the courage to fight. I think this is truely a couragous act. He is a true hero. I think he deserves a few medals of honor.

Jimmy W. Phipps

I am extremely grateful to Private Phipps, first of all. He saved two other Marines by taking the full force of a grenade explosion when an operation went wrong behind enemy lines, from what I read. He is a true hero to our nation, dying at the age of 21, which is to short a time to live. Once more, I am grateful way beyond words for his courage and gallantry.

I am looking for anyone that might have served with Lt. Robert Bruce Hadden. He is my father and was killed in 1965, I am not sure where. I would love to talk with anyone who knew him while he was in Vietnam.

I cannot bear to think of what Alan Lynn Barnett had to endure. When we heard stories about it, I cried as hard as possible. His sacrifaice stands for everything I believe in.If i could describe how i feel it would be way too long for this typing box. I cant think what it would be like to be 17 in a different country. I thank all the brave souls for their sacrifice.
