I'm very happy that you helped this country by serving in this war. When I heard that people like you died was going to cry so hard. But I'm very happy that I have had a chance to even get to know you. I am very happy that when I am celebrating my birthday, I'm also celebrating a very brave and strong hero who sacrificed himself for our country's freedom, which is yours.

Jon Edward Swanson was a great man. He sacrificed his life for AMERICA and freedom. You will not be forgotten in my heart or anyone elses. I can not imagine what he had to endure watching his friends die. I thank him for fighting in the war. He is one of the many important people who sacrificed their lives for AMERICA. He is one of the great Americans who's blood stands for on the flag. He did a very risky thing by flying over enemy territories. He got shot twice but was strong and kept on fighting. I thank him.

Steven E. Amescua survived two months and in that time he did not only serve his country, but he also fought to make sure his generation and many other generations would be free to live. So when you think he only survived two months think for those two months he sacerficed his life every second.
