Virgil Jay Bates

Virgil Jay Bates was a very brave man, he risked his life for our country. He was 21 years old and was married. He was born on June 26, the same date as my grandfather's birthday. He also was in the 101st Airborne Division. We will always remember him in our hearts. He is a true hero.

Private First Class Richard James Quinn died on January 7, 1969 from an undetermined explosion. He lived to be 18 years old. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on July 29, 1950. He will always be in our hearts. Richard was a good person.

Although I never met him, he was very brave to fight for the U.S.A. He is always a hero, and wil always be remembered. He represents the red, white, and blue. That will always be true. He is a hero.

I really appreciate you contributing to our country. I think you are very brave for going to fight in Vietnam for our country. You are amazing because you knew you were going to die and you died for all of the people in America. How scared were you when you were captured? You died when you were only 28 and didn't get to marry and you didn't get to go on with your life. I look up to you as a hero.

You were chosen to fight for our country at a very young age. You gave me and every other American freedom. We will never forget you Jerry Barfield for you have done a very big favor for us. You made us happy to live in America. You stayed in war for three months and for that reason we a proud of you. God Bless you and everyone else who was in the war.

I'm sure you were a great leader. I thank you for offering your life for our country. You will always be seen as a heroic man in my eyes. Thank you so much for defending the country. You were fearless and brave to accept your position. Your Medal of Honor could not have gone to a better person. We will never forget you Larry Stanley Pierce.

Henrey, thank you for giving your life to make our world a better place. I know your family and friends miss you. I know how your family feels I lost my grandpa in the vietnam war.
