Anthony (Tony) Carlos Pino . . Contributed By Raymond Brown MSGT USMC (Ret) On Friday, March 26, 2004 I am looking for any information on the circumstances behind CPL Anthony Pino's death on December 18, 1968 in Quang Nam Vietnam . I believe he was with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines and might have been involved in the firefight where Corpsmen Wayne Caron won the Medal Of Honor. I would like to here from anyone who served with Tony and knows the circumstances behind his combat death. His death has haunted me forever: and I want to be sure he did not die alone in some worthless stink hole for nothing, but was at least surrounded by his brothers in arms. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
