My brother was killed on Dec 3, l966. I will find the name of the exact place later. It was unusual circumstances so maybe this will strike a memory with someone. He was manning a Howitzer and the shell fell back among the soldiers and my brother died. Others were injured. The army told us it could have been bad powder, the gun was too hot, or the door was not closed before my brother pulled the lanyard to fire. One soldier contacted my mom last year, but I am still searching for someone who can tell me exactly what happened. His best friend's name was Al and he was from New York. I'd sure love to talk to someone who can talk about it. I'd like to know what kind of soldier and man he became. I was 12 years old when he died.
