Ronald L. Legler from Louisville, Ky . . Contributed By Carol A. Meise On Wednesday, August 11, 2004 My brother sent me a poem to put on this site for All that served in Viet Nam; Living and passed on. The Pity Of It All Across the world I was Sent, To fight in a war that was Hell bent; They Say it wasn't really a war, So what did many soldiers die for. I wasn't the only one to go afar, Many, many soldiers went to that war; It was in a place called Viet Nam, A place unsettled and not so calm. Those that went are proud to this day, Though some didn't come back the same way; Mutilated and parts missing from some, The thanks we got are still yet to come. It's been a long while since that time, We'll all never forget it; are the thoughts of mine; We all stand together one and all, With that thought, we will never fall. If you would like to write to my brother his address is: Ron Legler 635 Merwin Avenue Louisville, KY 40217
