Guest Book Registration . . Contributed By Louie Phillips Jr. On Friday, August 13, 2004 I was sure if I looked up our United States Presidents names on the guest book registration it would be there with comments. I hope this an error on my part on how to research names and comments. If not shame on them for not visiting this wall or attempting to comment or signing this guest registration book. And if anyone knows the best way to send them this e-mail do it. Please visit this wall and this site and register and comment it is our patriotic duty. I visited the wall in Martin County, Indiana. August 12th the year of 2004. I registered and commented and it was an honor to do it. Thank you

closure/healing . . Contributed By dave wilkerson(chaplain vfw post 4961 seaford de) On Wednesday, August 18, 2004 for those of you who havent visited the wall, and for those who have, if/when you visit again, try doing this (it worked for me,hope it works for you). just take a moment to step back and think about the words our LORD spoke to the man next to HIM on the cross just before he died.TODAY MY SON, YOU SHALL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE. also, please try and remember these words our LORD teaches us.NO GREATER LOVE HAS ANY MAN THAN TO LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR ANOTHER.HE THAT BELIEVES IN ME, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD, YET SHALL HE LIVE, AND SHALL DWELL IN MY FATHERS HOUSE FOREVER.DAVE.U.S.M.C.VIETNAM---1967-69. may GOD comfort all of our veterans and theit families both past and present, who have sacrificed so much. there are many horrors of war one of them is dying, but on of the worst horrors is forgetting those who did.NEVER FORGET!
Killed there and never knew it . . Contributed By Steve Erikson On Thursday, August 19, 2004 I did live to return home and I sometimes feel that I don't have the right to feel as I do but now, I believe that I will soon join my fallen brothers so many years later. With many others, and myself I was killed in Viet Nam, just didn't know it. Agent Orange, or DUO is what it is also sometimes called. What I got in Viet Nam, and was hospitalized for in Chu Lai, 27th Surg. 1968, I brought home and still suffer the same pain today. But the VA says, other then my Type 2 that came about four years ago (no family history or other factors), they do not believe there is any connection. Somehow, my hospitalization records were not reviewed so "no connection found". I have never spoke of this before and when I found this site today, I felt safe and that you all would know what I am feeling, Thanks.
