Contributed By dave wilkerson On Thursday, August 26, 2004 AS A VIETNAM VET., I JUST WANT TO TAKE A MOMENT TO THANK ALL THE VETERAN'S OF WWII AND THEIR FAMILIES FOR ALL THE SACRIFICE'S THEY MADE TO LITTERALY SAVE THIS WORLD AND TO PRESERVE THE FREEDOMS I ENJOY TODAY. GOT A CHANCE TO VISIT THE WWII MEMORIAL, AND DISCOVERD WHILE THERE, THAT WE ARE LOOSEING AN AVERAGE OF 1,500 DAILY. GOD FORGIVE US FOR MAKING YOU WAIT SO LONG TO GET THE MEMORIAL YOU SHOULD HAVE HAD SOME 60 YEARS AGO. THERE ARE SO PRECIOUS FEW OF YOU LEFT THAT GOT TO SEE/VISIT IT. SO, WHEN SOMEONE THANKS ME, I JUST REPLY BY SAYING THANK YOU, BUT IF YOU REALLY WANT TO THANK A VET, PLEASE THANK A WWII VET. I LOVE YOU GUYS.THANK YOU AND MAY GOD ALWAYS KEEP HIS SAFELY IN HIS ARMS.
