82nd Airborne in "nam" "68-69" . . Contributed By Daniel Jorge On Wednesday, September 29, 2004 I am looking to form a veteran friendship with any member of the 82nd that served in Vietnam because brothers you served with my brother;Osvaldo"Tony"Jorge from April,68 till Nov,69.My name is Daniel jorge and i am also a veteran and currently at 22 years i am in the Air force reserve did serve active and also 3 years in the Army national guard.I have pictures to see if you recognize him.I would love to meet you veterans day 04 at the wall in D.C.,we are native New yorkers if that helps.Just to let you know ahead of time Tony passed away in 1977 at 27 years old of illnesses due to the war.I know a whole lot about the eighty-duece during "NAM".Tony was MIA for 30 daysand i think he was hospolitized in Saigan when he was found on the 31st day.please call me we will talk more;#646-279-9333 thank you for letting me share,all Americans all the way |

Contributed By Tamela L long On Tuesday, October 05, 2004 My Dad has gone and I am leaving this to allow fellow veterans to know he went away.He survived vietnam and was a POW there.He sported five cars with the following on each.Blade 1,Blade 2, Blade 3, Blade 4, Blade 5.I did not know until I was given the remains of his brief case what this meant.I now know that there were five of you on a mission.I have the picture of all five and have made contact with only one of the men in the Blade Mission.Thank You! All of you here or gone from the depths of a heart that could not understand.My Dads shoes are still to big for me However I try not to let anyone forget.What happened there and he knows from heaven His grandsons are in IRAQ Now! |

He came home from Vietnam and was heading back when the accident during training took his life. My mother tried and tried to get his name put on the wall. My Father was a marine who served on the southeast barrakcs on 8th street. I was told his name was Eddie Dolphin. People where playing truth or dare and then I happened.
