Wasted Youth . . Contributed By Carl Moffett On Thursday, November 11, 2004 WWI was the war to end all wars. What happened? Did we learn nothing in Korea and Vietnam, and now in Iraq. How many more young lives will be wasted in another foriegn country? A country that doesn' even want us there. Our young people are our future. Dont waste them again.

veteran's day 2004. . . Contributed By Connie May Ingle On Thursday, November 11, 2004 As we are fighting the enemey across foreign soil, let us rejoice in those ones who have paid their price so that we might be free - Thank you to each veteran out there in the USA! May we always keep you and your families near in our hearts. And may we never complain about what we don't have- for if we can live and breath in a free nation WE are truly blessed! I would like to leave you a snipet of a poem I wrote several years ago: Let us Americans rejoice, and demand: What makes this country so great- Are those who fight on foreign lands. 2004_Connie May Ingle

You are always remembered . . Contributed By Karen Prewitt On Thursday, November 11, 2004 I would like to send a prayer out to all the soldiers fighting for our country in Iraq and also a prayer for all of the veterns who made it home from other wars. My uncle James D. Cain lost his life in Vietnam in 1968, but not a day has gone by that I dont think about him and all the others that gave the ULTIMATE sacrifice for our freedom. GOD BLESS ALL.
Teddy Lee and Donny Ray . . Contributed By Paul MacAuley On Friday, November 12, 2004 I think of you nearly every day. Three boys from Belmont, MA, three boys stationed together at Ft. Bragg, three boys sent to Vietnam, one boy came home to Belmont. I don't know why I was so lucky and you so unlucky, but I do know what brave and wonderful men you were and would have continued to be, had you been given the chance to grow old like me. My life has forever been changed, much because of the two of you, but I am so much the better person for having known you. You help me fight the deamons of that war which still come to visit me so often.
