David Jasper . . Contributed By Marian Jasper Bond On Sunday, December 05, 2004 Would very much appreciate hearing from anyone who knew my brother Dave. He was killed in Binh Duong at Fire support base Cantigny on November 19th 1968. He was with the 1st Infantry 2/28 Black Lions Big Red 1. He had red hair which justified his nickname of Red. I had heard from some of his friends before but a computer crash took all my email addresses with it so i'm starting over.If you remember him please write. REMEMBER/NEVER FORGET . . Contributed By DAVE On Tuesday, December 07, 2004 I AM A VIET-VET, AND I RELALIZE THAT THIS PAGE IS DEDICATED TO THOSE LOST IN VIETNAM. BUT I JUST WANT TO REMIND EVERYONE WHAT HAPPENED ON THIS DAY 1941. A TRAGEDY THAT DREW THIS NATION INTO WWII. LET US NEVER FORGET TO REMEMBER THE 2,388 LIVES THAT WERE LOST THAT DAY, AND PAUSE TO REMEMBER THEM. LET US NEVER FORGET TO PAUSE AND REMEMBER THOSE THAT GAVE THEIR LIVE'S IN EVERY WAR AND EVERY TRAGEDY THIS NATION HAS ENDURED, FOR IF WE EVER STOP REMEMBERING, IF WE EVER FORGET THEM, THEN WE OURSELVES WILL HAVE COMMITTED THE GREATEST TRAGEDY OF ALL. |

interview . . Contributed By Martin Wagner On Wednesday, December 08, 2004 Hello, my name is Martin Wagner. I am correspondent for German Public Radio (a network of public radio-stations in Germany) in Washington DC. I would like to do an interview with a Vietnam Veteran in Washington DC about his experience: - what does it mean - how important for the life - meetings with other veterans It's for a program about history and remenbrance. The interview wouldn't take longer than 15 minutes and it should take place this week. If you could help me to find someone in Washington DC that would be great. Best regards Martin Wagner Correspondent German Public Radio ARD-BR Tel. 202-625 2503 Fax. 202-625 6814 Cel. 202-255 9783 Res. 301-983 5389 |
