Veterans of War.
. . Contributed By Jeff On Tuesday, March 15, 2005
I just wish to address a subject that is dear to my heart. This message goes out to anyone that has fought in any war, not just the wars that are listed on the wall. I do not know what is was like to lose a loved one to war, because my father went to Vietnam and returned after his tour. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, my father died 11 years ago. To anyone who fought any war for the freedom of this great nation I applaud you whether you made it home or you gave your life serving your country, I will always remember to say a prayer for your family. YOU ARE NOT, NOR WILL EVER BE FORGOTTEN.

Bracelet
. . Contributed By Linda K. Elliott (Wyrick) On Thursday, March 17, 2005
In 1969, I was honored to wear a bracelet of an MIA. Much to my relief he arrived on the 2nd transport to the US. The sad part: I don't remember his name all these years later. But I will never forget the how I felt when I read his name. He was alive! My prayers to all those who continue to fight for our safety and freedom. Please know you are not forgotten.
