To Ken Woodward who served with my uncle in Vietnam, I'm in the process of updating an article that I wrote titled "Vietnam Revisited: A Child's Viewpoint", regarding the impact my uncle's death had on me as a 7-year-old,and I would appreciate any information that you can give me. My new e-mail address is: psbeyesonly@wmconnect.com PLEASE NOTE: For anyone on this board who would like to read "Vietnam Revisited," the link is: http://searchwarp.com/swa62798.htm. New Wall
. . Contributed By Wall Webmaster On Wednesday 2, 2006
To the person below who felt compelled to leave his comments and no e mail address... The new Wall site has all the features of the old one... the only thing changed is the graphics and the type of search engine used... By updating the search engine we had to put it on a new server...The old search program was 10 years old and NO ONE would work on it... in internet time 10 years is a lot... so for this last year I have worked very hard trying to get the site updated and its not done yet... I have no idea what you miss from the old site... Maybe its the red and white striped background or taps playing... Who knows... But I do know we (The Manchus) have spent a lot of money on this website and its updates.. And I personally have spent 6 years maintaining it so I object to someone who has given nothing complaining about nothing.....Right now just having this web site online posted is costing about $150 a month.. Thats web space alone... all my time and the time of others is as volunteers... we get no goverment funding or help in anyway except by donations from visitors and our Manchu association auctions we hold at our reunions ... So theres the facts... You might like the old one better... But its gone... so enjoy the new Wall USA.. Its the only site like it on the web...

Dog Tags Retrieved From Vietnam
. . Contributed By Linda Stocker On Tuesday 1, 2006
We have over 1400 dog tags that have been retrieved from Vietnam and are working to reunite them with veterans and families of deceased veterans. Please visit our website www.topvietnamveterans.org to view the list and contact us if you recognize a name and can help us locate them. There are no charges or costs–we return this dog tag as a public service in recognition of their service in Vietnam. Thank you for your help. I am the wife of a Vietnam Veteran and work as a volunteer with TOP Vietnam Veterans.

40th anniversary
. . Contributed By dean daglieri On Tuesday 1, 2006
IN MEMORY OF THAT DAY AUGUST 1, 1966 We Will Not Forget our Comrades On their 40th Anniversary Frank Gundaker Richard Kitner Ronald Russell Ernest Shuman Donald Wallace Today we are honoring our fellow comrades on their 40th Anniversary. It has been 40 years since we last saw their faces. We all rest easier in the knowledge that their lives sacrificed on that sunny day, touched all of us in a positive way. But no length of time can take away our pain and thoughts of them from day to day. I just wish those five brave men did not have to pay so high a price. For in our minds, hearts and eyes they will forever will be heroes. They will never be forgotten and always be sadly missed by their fellow Blue Stars Comrades and their families.
