fear in Vietnam
. . Contributed By Amy Hersher On Friday, March 09, 2001
I am a senior at Perry High and I am doing a paper on the fear experienced by soldiers in the Vietnam War. I was wondering if any Veterans would reply and tell me the types of things you feared there. Did you fear death most? Was it hard to tell who the enemy was and did that scare you too? Did you feel like you had to protect the younger soilders? Your response is very much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I am a university student here in England, attempting to write a dissertation on whether the Vietnam war Memorial has helped to heal the nation. I am interested in your opinions, and if you have visited the wall how it made you feel and wheyher you left anything at the memorial. I would be greatful to anyone who can help me with this research. Thanks Rachel.

HMC Lewis Long/"Doc" Long
. . Contributed By Terry Fleming On Saturday, March 10, 2001
I hope to find a Vet that remembers him. He served in the Navy with pride from WW2 until his death in VietNam. He was in Saigon in '63-'64, and then sent to the DaNang QuangNam area in Aug. of '65. Sadly he came home under a flag that he loved to honor. Leaving many unanswered questions. I would like very much to hear from you if you were in that area during that time. I also would like to thank all of you past and present for keeping this site up and going. I know that it must take alot of time and I am most greatful for your talents.
