Mason, who served in the USAF 1966-1969 and was stationed at Tan Sa Nhut (spelling) at the 8th Aerial Port SQ in Saigon. My father is alive and well and I would love to find some of these men that he served with in VietNam. Harold Ganchou, Ron Luddy, Ken Morgan, Al Fotheringham, Bill Parmer, Pete Carrier, Greg Magie, Killian, Wadelski and Schoeder. Currently I am doing research on the war, and the men and women who served there, My home town is Whitley City Kentucky the county is McCreary, if you were or are from here and would like to be remembered in my thesis for undergrad school please let me hear from you. Neither his family nor we knew of it that day. He was only 20. We took rubbings of his name in 1999. Both of his parents have now died. His father was a 20-year military man, a prince of a man and my baptism godparent.

"Pete" Mathis, KIA 11 Mar 1970 at Lam Dong, South Vietnam. Pete was a helicopter pilot. His death was categorized as "non-hostile, crash on land." Pete was from East Tallassee, Alabama.
