You may have been drafted and you may have enlisted, but you went and you served in Vietnam, so stand tall and stand proud! God and I loved you all then, now, and always. I will never forget you and I hurt when I think of all of you and what you went through (and most of us can not imagine). I am sorry for what some put you through when you came home. I always showed you respect and always will. Therefore you ARE my hero's and heroine's. God bless you and keep you.

lt. klugg was listed as mia on november 14, 1970, i believe he was from michigan. all i know is his plane went down in north vietnam. any information would be appreciated.

APPROXIMATELY 1972, I WAS A 12 YEAR OLD 6TH GRADE STUDENT WALKING THROUGH THE OKLAHOMA CITY WILL ROGERS AIRPORT. A YOUNG HISPANIC SOLDIER APPROACHED ME AND GAVE ME A STONE NECKLACE. AS HE PLACED IT IN MY HAND, HE SAID HE HAD NO ONE, BUT WANTED SOMEONE TO REMEMBER HIM AS HE WAS LEAVING FOR VIETNAM. I NEVER KNEW HIS NAME, ONLY THAT HIS GREATEST HOPE WAS NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN. I NEVER HAVE FORGOTTEN HIM AND WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO BE REUNITED. THE STONE WAS IN THE SHAPE OF AN TRIANGLE WITH A FACE CARVED INTO IT. I HAVE KEPT IT WITH ME TO THIS DAY. James Corsetti, was a friend of mine we bothe served our country when we were called.We both became buddys about 23 years ago when we both were in the V.A. hospital. james had p.t.s.d. and suffered for many years from this illness as well as agent orange.He was devorced with two children, aand could not work.I James my dear friend took his life three years ago because he thought he was still in Vietnam. Vietnam still lingers in many Veterans.Please get the help your entitiled, for the is no compensation that can that can re-build our lives back to where they were. My name is Beatrix R jackson Owens My father was in 173rd AbnBde.Was KIA on may1,1970 in South VietNam,BinhDinh.I was 14 years old when we heard.The last time i saw my father was when i was 11 years in Augsburg Germany.In 1969 His first wife who is my mother took the three of us back to the states.I never knew where we was.And now after all these years,I can say daddy it's alright.We miss you,And love you.And last years i found my half brother in germany.And i think that my father is a peace with himself now. o if there is any one who remmbers him . USMC, 0341 81mm mortarman, Vietnam - 66-67. Would like anyone who knew me then to contact me. I was with 1/3. We operated off ships. I knew Richard Shakespear, Frank Miller, Rocky Pascarelli. I suffered stress in Vietnam and would like someone to verify my combat exposure. There was a mortar attack. It happened then. I mourn and I'm angry. I need dates. I'm out of words. 200 is too short for what we experienced.
