Searching for a "brother" in the 11th . . Contributed By Megan Callaghan On Monday, November 11, 2002 Thank you Vets! I am looking for people who may have served with my father. I don't know exactly when he began his service but I'm guessing it was late '66 to July '68 when he was injured. Larry Dennis Callaghan was roughly 20 years old, from Quincy/Weymouth, Massachusetts. His rank was Sergeant (E5). He served in Germany and in Vietnam. If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it because he recently passed away and the history of his early twenty's and his experiences died with him. God Bless and Welcome Home!
In Remembrance . . Contributed By Jennifer On Tuesday, November 12, 2002 My family served in World War II, women and men in American and British services. Others in my family served in subsequent wars.including Vietnam. One's lives in my heart, along with others I knew.and his name is on this wall. This is a writing from WW2: "They still march but their footsteps make no sound.they still serve but do not answer when their name is called.they shall not grow old.as we that are left grow old.age shall not weary them nor the years condemn them.at the going down of the sun and in the morning.WE SHALL REMEMBER.' To which I add, every day, I remember.why would I forget. In love and peace.

THOUGHTS NEVER FORGOTTEN . . Contributed By James D. Bishop On Monday, November 18, 2002 I was a corpsman in Vietnam (Charlie Co. 1/5/1) and have tried to forget some of the experiences i had there. However lately these memories have been coming back rather frequently. Now I am almost in tears as I think about friends left there and could not help. My heart aches for those left. You are gone but not forgotten and never will be by this old corpsman. I hurt and don't know what to do about it. Memories haunt me and crying does no good
