Spec 4 Donald R. Stephenson-Tennessee . . Contributed By Paul CrossOn 11/17/97: I'm hoping to find someone who might have served with my best friend. He was killed May 5, 1968 near Ahn Khe. He was an RTO serving with A co. 50th inf. 173 AirBorn Brigade. We never heard from any of his officers or friends in his platoon and have been told that they were all killed. The only name of a friend he ever mentioned in his letters was a Gary Galand(not sure of the spelling). I would love to hear from anyone whop might have met or known him. He was an only child and his aging parents would like to know more about what happened. I thank all of you for what you did in Viet Nam for all of us. You have been and will continue to be my heroes. I will never forget your sacrifices or be unaware of the hell that many of you came home to. You are the best.
