I am looking for background information on Capt Harrold Hellbach, USMC, VMFA-232, MAG-11. He was from New Orleans, LA and was KIA on 19 May 67 in South Vietnam. I would appreciate any information that you can give me on him or the unit that he served with. Semper Fi.

Need viewer help in trying to "clarify" actual units of assignment for men believed to be members of the 6th Bn, 29th Field Artillery: PFC GLEN ALEX CHAVEZ, 4th ID, KIA 8/22/70 at Binh Dinh, was a 13A10 Artilleryman. CPT JOSEPH WOODARD, 4th ID, KIA 5/6/69 at Tay Ninh, specialty 1542 (which I was told is an Artillery Operations Officer). PFC LAYNE MICHAEL SANTOS, 4th ID, KIA 3/3/69 at Kontum, a 13A10 Artilleryman. 1LT RONALD LEONARD WARNETT, Linden, NJ, specialty 1193. PLEASE, contact me if you have any knowledge of these men, and their unit of assignment!

Still have not forgotten Cpt. Capelle and SSG Z. Fakin. Thiry-six years ago today they died as heroes along with some very brave Vietnamese Rangers.
