My brother died in Tay Ninh in 1968 - Lawrence Visconti. We called him Butch. I'm his big sister. Our family has never met anyone who could help us understand what happened to him. We're still looking. If you might be able to suggest a site or people we might ask, or, if you knew him or of the situation, I would very much appreciate your reply. Thank you, Tiney Visconti Best

My father recently went on a trip to Vietnam. When he asked what I wanted, I asked for dog tags. He brought back 50. I want to give them back to the owners. I want to thank them for what they did. 4 have been located on the wall, but the rest are unknown. I would apprciate any advice as to locating people. I have a list of the names, maybe you knew the soilder and could help me. Thank you

Pvt. Richard or Robert. Strong
. . Contributed By John E. Fine On Monday, April 12, 2004
My wife knew a young man here in Austin, TX about 1967 who was sent to Viet Nam only two weeks after they met. He died/was killed there 67-68, body brought home to San Antonio where his Step-father was retired Air Force. He was a pvt in the army. His home may not have been Texas, but he is not Richard Strong, Jr. from Washington State, for he was least 27 or 28 years old when killed. He was a very talented artist/painter well known to University of Texas faculty and had two children(recently divorced when he shipped out). His name is not on the wall. If anyone can solve this mystery, I and my wife would very much appreciate it. If he deserves to be on the wall.it should be added.

Every day I miss you Daddy. The bravest man I ever knew died two years ago because of Agent Orange. He died proud of his service to his country and I am proud of him.
