Don  Bumgarner dbumc13usmc@verizon.net Marine Buddy Strafford MO 65757 USA 48 Years ago today-Mother's Day again! Jim, another year has passed. 48 years ago today, today I was in Church, thinking about you again. Today is Mother's Day again, like it was 48 years ago. Back then your Mom said she woke up from her sleep, and she heard your voice calling out to her. She said, you were calling out, 'MOM, MOM, MOM!' She has now passed also, and is with you now. Tell her I said 'Hello'. I have moved to Missouri now, and Peggy just bought a house here. She will be moving here as soon as she can. She is selling her place in Florida. Again, JIM, YOU are not forgotten and never will be. No May 10th will pass without thinking about you. At the Reunion this year, those that knew you, will talk again about you and the others lost on Operation Beaver Cage. You and many other Great Marines were lost that Day in the Que San Valley. Rest in Peace MY BROTHER, We all Love Ya too. Semper Fidelis Marine-Don B C/1/3 67-68. May 10, 2015 |
