After hearing you were Hit, I don't remember much about the day, but did help carry you that night to the LZ. I said MY Good Bye, and told you to RIP. Hope you have RIP all these years, and now that your Mom has been in Heaven with you for 3 years, maybe it is easier on you both. Burkitt, Bacon, Bill Taylor, and I just finished a 14 Day trip back to Vietnam between April 24th and May 8th. We were in the Area of Operation Beaver Cage, and talked about you. May 10th, 1967 was a TUFF Day for the Battalion, and CHARLIE Company, as we lost 22-KIA and 88-WIA that day with 3 Posthumously Awarded NAVY CROSSES. Your Gun Team Squad Leader Cpl Sanders, was Awarded one. Know ALL Your Marine Buddies are THINKING about you today, as we always do! RIP MY BROTHER, see ya one of these day.
