ROBERT JONES slow_pitcher@yahoo.com MILITARY BROTHER 1650, NC., HIGHWAY, 152, WEST, CHINA GROVE, NC., 28023, USA REMEMBERING THIS DAY, 39, YEARS, AGO It is almost, 5, P.M., June 6, 2010. I think of you often, but especially, on this date. We shared, a time in our lives, that can only be explained, by you and I. In a country, far, from home and family, we were charged with serving, our country, no matter, how we felt. All of those that served, with us, in 5th, Infantry, had the ultimate, mission, in seeing, that we all, returned home. In that mission, each, of those that served, with you, failed you and those, that loved you. However, you were not, left on foreign, soil but with heavy hearts returned, to the homeland. We did, our best, but best is not always, good enough. To your family, I can only, say, that my life is better, because, of you. I will, see you, again someday. Jun 6, 2010 |
