Rebecca Harshman savastra@bellsouth.net My husband, another hero, knew him. 575 County Road 728 Montevallo AL 35115 USA A child almost named Myllin. My husband, Rusty Harshman, and Myllin were in NCOC school together at Ft. Benning. I did not have the privledge of knowing Myllin, but Rusty spoke about him as one of the most wonderful guys he ever knew. When our third child was born, Rusty expressed that he would like to name our son Myllin after his beloved friend. Since Rusty had named our daughter after his mother, Claudia, I wanted to name our second son after my family. Since I didn't know Myllin, we decided to name our son Andrew. Maybe Andy and his wife, Nicole, will consider naming a child Myllin since he missed out being the namesake of such an admirable and honorable man. Our Andy has many of the qualities and characteristics I see that others saw in Myllin. I regret I never met him. Our "daddy", Rusty, passed away on Nov. 16, 1990 at the age of 45. His lung cancer was presumed to have been brought on by his exposure to Agent Orange. God bless them and all those serving in the war zones of life. Phil. 1:3 Rebecca Mar 25, 2007 |

Sandra Lloyd lloydsandy@hotmail.com cousin Myllin Gerald Henrich was the son of Gerald and Berniece Henrich. He grew up on a farm near Akron, Iowa. He used to help his father, uncle, and my father bail hay during the summers. I remember that my father always paid him a little extra because he worked so hard. He used to ride horseback the three miles from his farm home to ours. He spent his summers during his college years working construction at IBP or trenching in phone lines. I remember that he often had to hitchhike home from college and back on weekends or holidays. Sunday, October 29, 2000 |

Ronald Price rkprice_1@msn.com Served in US Army A Proud NCOC Graduate I was proud to have served with Myllin while in the NCOC School in Ft Benning, Ga. Class 43-69. His dedication to doing his best, and his hard work brought him to the top of the class. Yet he always remained humble. His sense of humor would keep us going when times got tough. After graduation, we spent our OJT together at Ft McClellan, Ala as Plt Sgts for an AIT class. You knew you could count on Myllin, & he always put his men first.as I'm sure he did in Nam. He will always be remembered. Saturday, April 21, 2001 |

Barb Kross barbkross@hotmail.com cousin Ft. Collins, Co Myllin Henrich was my cousin who lived about three miles from our farm near Akron, Iowa. We were in the same class in school, attended the same activities, belonged to the same church, and shared a similar upbringing and childhood. Memories of this intelligent, funny, hard-working young man will never be forgotten a model young person with so much to offer and life cut short. Our loss remains profound.
