Had the honor and pleasure of meeting Jerry's sister and brother-in-law at the funeral and for several years after via emails. Also Jerry's Uncle and his nephew. Have lost track of them as they are not responding to old email address. If either of you read this or if anyone else know's where they are at please get back in contact with me as I'd like to stay in touch.

another update, for Jerry
MARCH 2009, while driving a long distance, thru Tennessee and arriving, in Giles, Tennessee, at 0630, hours, during a nice falling rain, i located the cemetery where, Jerry G. Bridges was laid, to rest. It took, me close to an hour, to find the exact location, but when, i did all these tears, came pouring out. 30, plus years, of honoring him and wanting, to bring, a sense, of closure, all came out. I was, so glad to have found, him....... and i do plan on, returning there again.

To My Friend, Jerry ....
I took Basic Training, with Jerry in September, of 1966, at Ft. Campbell, KY.. He was, in my squad and he showed, great, leadership qualities, then... as I'm sure, he did while serving, in Vietnam. After Basic Training, I went to Ft. Sill, OK. and then to Vietnam, where I, served a year, with the 9th, Infantry Division. I lost touch with Jerry, after Basic and it wasn't, 'til several years ago, that I found out, about his MIA., status and I wore, his bracelet and now, have it up, in a case. To Jerry's family and friends: You should, be very proud of him, because knowing him, he gave 100%, to everything he did and ultimately, his very own life. Thanks, for the memories, Jerry. I shall, always remember you! I do have, our Basic, Training book, which includes several pictures, of Jerry. I will try, to take some pictures, from it, with my digital camera and pass it on, the this website. (Sgt.) Harry R. Jackson - Hixson, TN.
