My son, gave his life for all, of us to have Liberty, Justice and freedom, a day, i'll, never forget and would have, given my life for you, Dennis. you gave, your heart to the lord, as a young, man and put, your trust and faith, in him. So often, I look back when you, would come home from Campeleton, for the weekend and bring a few buddys, along, with you and I would, play, the Marine, Corps Athem, on the organ, as you entered, the door. now you have, entered, in heaven's door. I have, all the letters you sent, also a poem, written, by a fellow, Marine, that you had, sent me. A.W. Jones, USMC., 'Don't Cry'.... Cpl., Greg Salisbury, USMC., a high school, buddy and neighbor, wrote one, also titled, 'Farewell Buddy,' thanks, to all who, served and are serving, this great country. God Bless. farther along, we will understand, why??

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

A Mothers Hero
Dear Family, It is an honor, for me to be able, to leave, a message for you, to express, my sincere remorse and great appreciation, for the scrafice you and your family, has gone through. I write this, not only for you, but to all the families, that lost a loved one, in this tragic, yet, never forgotten war. I did not, know your son, but as a mother and grandmother, my heart breaks, for your loss. I can only imagine, how the absence, of your beloved son, has changed your life, since that horrable day. By the grace of God, I pray, that you, have found peace and in some way, been able, to have a full and happy life. God bless you! As for you Dennis, I remember, a great man once said, 'Don't ask, what can my country, do for me, but what can I do, for my country?' Well, you did the ultimate, by fighting and dying, for your country! You are, a true hero! Thank you, from Texas.

Dear Denny, You were the first of my close friends to die. Larry Hopper followed you Nov 20, 1967. He was also a marine. I wasn't in county until 1969. Several more where to follow you brave guys. Today in the school where I teach some kids where disrespectful as we brought out the flag so I dressed several hundred of them down. You could have heard a pin drop. Ultimately you and our other friends where honored and these young school kids were reminded that sacrifice has a face and a name and friends who remember. I look forward to a big hug from you when we finally met in heaven. Your brother in Arms and in Christ, Richard
