Paul Boyer III wffd440@aol.com None SEBTS Box, 13175, Wake Forest, NC., 27587, USA A Brother Lost For oh, so many years, I watched as men from my father's units, were trained ( Dad was, a Drill Sgt/Platoon Sgt. ) and went off, to Vietnam. Most did come home, but many did not. As a Army Brat, I made many friends, on active duty while living on the Base, or in Germany. I have seen many Names, of friends and of my friend's, fathers, listed in the Army Times, in the KIA., column. In the fall, of 74, I obtained a POW., Bracelet, that had this Brother's name, on it, Stephen J. Geist. I wore it, through Basic Training and for oh, so many years, after I got out, of the Army. I was a Medic. Some how, it fell of and was never found, but I will never forget, SSgt., Stephen J Geist. Tuesday, June 15, 1999 |

Linda Cosby I have his bracelet I was in High school during the Vietnam War, and like so many of my friends, wore a POW/MIA bracelet. I still have Stephen's bracelet. I had hoped I would learn that he is fine. I planned to break the bracelet and send it to him. I continue to pray for the families, and for our sons and brothers who are fighting in Viet Nam #2 (Iraq). Tuesday, August 30, 2005 |
