I did not know this warrior personally however it is always an honor to praise a fallen hero. I pray that He is now standing guard for our Real Commander and Chief.

Some gave all.For those who gave nothing but disrespect.
Some gave all.For others gave nothing but disrespect for any true Hero.It takes a brother in arms.To truely respect Their fallen Brothers.

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

Seventy-seven years ago this world was blessed with a hero. Time was short in this life, but we know you are still here in the hearts of all who loved you, and in the hearts of all who love them. You will never be forgotten, Arthur. We will all meet one day, and what a joyous meeting it will be. Rest in sweet peace, soldier.

~ In Humble Tribute Today and Always ~

We are Proud families... those of us who see our Young Warriors off, to serve in the Armed Forces, of this Great Country, we live in. All of them giving up, their youth and the pleasures, of home, so that our ability to live in the comforts, we have been accustomed to, is not interrupted..... Passed on to us, with the loss of our loved ones, in Vietnam, was a never ending void... Accompanied by an American Flag, Honorable Medals, of our Hero's accomplishments, plus a multitude, of memorials and remembrances. All given in the honor of those, who gave their all.... And yet on the other side, of this was a large percentage of our Country, refusing to acknowledge our heroes, or respect, their honorable service.... What this war did accomplish however, over the past four decades, was a bonding, of a multitude of families, into one big family... Brothers and Sisters, All.... Became... Families, All..... The Vietnam war has left us, a Legacy, to be passed on.... An Overwhelming sense of Pride, A Treasure of Loving Memories and the knowledge, that there is in each of these families, A True American Hero, to be Honored and Remembered, through every generation. A bonding between these families, that will remain for as long, as our lives and memories last. May we Remember Always, the Sacrifices made by each, of these heroes. Those who, have 'given some' and those, that have 'given all.'

remembrance
I posted the flags at home this morning and cancelled participation in the days events so that I can visit with heroes who did not return. There are many.I've taken another quote that our 'sister ' Garnet uses.'Lest I keep my complacent way,I must remember...somewhere out there a person died for me,as long as there must be war,I ask,and I must answer...was I worth dying for?~Eleanor Roosevelt~ What this brings to mind I cannot post here, but I do remember why I'm alive. Til then,God bless and keep you brother,we will always be together.

Another Memorial Day comes with thoughts of you and your dear brother Davy who has become so dear to me. I never had the honor of knowing you, but my love and gratitude is strong and sure. Rest in peace, brave warrior, in the knowledge that you will never be forgotten.
