remembrance
The Viet Nam War, has been called 'The 10,000, Day War.' Ours has lasted over 16,000 days. Your plane went down, on this date, 44, yr's., ago. The plans and dreams, we had and a large part of me, went with it. When reading the bio's., of others, those who were tortured, some to death and those, we knowingly left behind, I'am thankful for this you died 'clean.' I'm also thankful, you were a good man, father, son and brother and most of all, a dedicated Christian. Garnet posted a tribute to you, her brother and others. I'll ask her to add the link, to this site.' Til we meet at your 'mansion' brother, I love and miss you. monk.

Remembrance
Missing you each year, never gets any easier. 1963, was our last Christmas, together and I still have, the little green gift tag, 'from the other Bakers.' Some, of the other family want it, but they'll get it, when my will, is read. THE WALL website is very much, a watering hole. I've met your friends, my friends, our friends and made, new ones. I've visited with the surviving Knight clan, several times this year in Mineral Wells, the Nat'l., Viet Nam, War Museum, is being built just up the hill, east, of old FT. Wolters, alias the old home place. Roy's crash site, is being excavated and pieces, of life support equip. and parachute harness, have been identified. I hope it's soon, I know that feeling! I feel tonight, that I could write a book to you, but I'm using space. I'll get a coffee and we'll talk in silence, having been to other sites, I know now, that older brothers, are indeed special. I miss and love you, more each day, til then bro., REST IN PEACE!!!
