Dickie was 14 years older than I and I still got to go to Vietnam as well. I was luckier than he was. I saw him when I was very young but have been told he was a great guy and obviously a very brave one. He is remembered.

A fallen hero dies
A day like today you lost your life. I never knew you,but I respect and admire all VN vets. The unfortunate situation of our present time is that we keep losing men that should be home with their families. YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN.
