Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother”. Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

I first learned of Capt. Sijan when I visited the Air Force Academy a few years ago. As a former USAF troop myself, I found it impossible to forget him, since he was the first graduate of the Academy to earn the Medal of Honor. Everyone who served in Vietnam is, of course, worthy of great respect, but I will never forget Capt. Sijan.

The book is called "Into the Mouth of the Cat: the Story of Lance Sijan, Hero of Vietnam." It was written in 1985 by Malcolm McConnell. It's an amazing book about an extrodinary man and Hero.
