 “You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

 Never Forgotten!
Dearest John, Even after all these years, I can still see you, sauntering, into our office, at McGraw-Hill's, College, Text Division. You were, such a hard, worker and our boss, Matt Donnelly was, a real perfectionist. I can, still see, your wavy blond, hair, falling over, your forehead and your, beautiful smile. I will, never forget, what a good, friend, you were, to me and I will, be eternally grateful, for the sacrifice, of your life to keep, our country free. As the casualties in Iraq, are reported, every day, I see history, repeating itself and it makes me sad, to think, that more young people will, never get, to have, the kind, of lives, they deserved, to enjoy, with their families and their families, will have, to spend, the rest of their lives, suffering, their loss. I pray, for them and their families, as well, as you and your family and my family and I will, be grateful forever. You are gone, John, for almost 40, years, but you, will always be that sweet, smiling, 19, year old, to me. Never forgotten. You, are my hero. Love, Anne

John, was a gentleman. I dated, a friend, of his, Tommy Greene, who often worked, until 9, pm.. John would pick me up, posing, as my date, as my father would not, let me leave on dates, after 8, pm.. He also insisted, that the date, pick me up, at my home. His girlfriend, Diane Kozlowski, would be, waiting nearby. The three, of us would then go, to the Space, Bar, in Woodside and Tommy would meet us, there, right from work. His girl, Diane, loved him so and he her. It's been more than 30, years and I have, thought, of him, so often, through those years. He was one, HELL, OF A GUY! One day, I will, meet him, again & thank him, myself, for such, fond memories and for his ultimate, service, to the United States, of America. Thank you, for being you, John & for being, MY HERO too. Memorial Day, 2000

Memorial Day, May 28, 2001, John, You're, Never Forgotten!
I worked, with John, in the College, Textbook Division, of McGraw-Hill, Publishing Company, for about, a year and a half, before he enlisted, in the Marines. He was indeed, a real gentleman, even, at 19, years, of age. We came, to be good, friends, having lunch together every day, with another co-worker, Laura Nowack Romano. He told us so much, about Diane, that we almost, felt, that we knew, her, even though, we had, never met. When he left, for the Marines and then Vietnam, I had, a feeling, of foreboding. I never saw him again, I was, in California and did not, hear, of his death until after, the funeral. I was, heart-broken and still am. I think, of you, every day and pray, for you still, John, as well, as your family (your beloved, baby brother) and Diane. Thank you, for the sacrifice you made, to keep, Americans safe. You are loved and will, never be forgotten.
