“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

Easter 1968
When I last spoke to you, it was at the USO., in Oceanside. We were both, kind of quiet as you were heading, to Nam and I had orders, to go. Our time in boot camp, was over and our MOS's, were different. It was a difficult time, as we both kind of knew, where we were, finally ending up and hoping, we would come home. As fate, made me a casualty reporter, in Quang Tri, for the 3rd Marine Division, I remember that Easter, when your name came across, my desk. I remember how bad, it felt and how I cried inside because now the war had personally, touched me and I was helpless. I've never forgotten, that moment. It's been years, now and still, after my family and I say hello, whenever we get a chance, whether it's in Wash. D.C, Sacramento, or through the traveling wall, the pain, doesn't go away. I only hope, that your family knows, that old Marines like me, still and will always, remember and respect, the sacrifices they made. I know, you're with God, now and always. I hope your family, has found peace, and as always, I'll continue to pray for you. Semper Fi, Brother.

TONY, I HAVE THOUGHT MANY TIMES, OF THE NIGHT, BEFORE YOUR SACRAFICE. HOW YOU THOUGHT, ABOUT GOING, HOME AND TAKING, A SHOWER AND SEEING YOUR FAMILY. WE SAT UP, WORRYING, ABOUT WHAT THE MORNING, WOULD BRING, WHEN IT BEGAN, IT WAS MORE THAN WE, EXPECTED AND ONLY A FEW, CAME BACK.
