"Lt., Byrnes" was, a friend and a good soldier. He died the day, after I was, wounded and it was such a shock, to all of us. God bless this man, for his ultimate sacrifice! God bless, his family!

Gone, but not forgotten, Lt., Bob Byrnes
Byrnes treated everyone the same, with respect. He was a fun loving, guy and could make everyone, laugh. I especially remember his imitation, of a piece of bacon frying, in a pan. I laughed so much, it hurt. after he shipped off to 'Nam, we received the terrible news, that he was killed, in an ambush. Those of us that knew him, were deeply saddend by that news, that day. I still remember, Byrnes and think of him, often and perhaps, now he is entertaining God, with his fried bacon imitation. I certainly hope so. Rest In Peace, Bob Byrnes.
