Jean  Doss jmdoss@comcast.net wore MIA/POW bracelet with his name My MIA/POW bracelet has Capt. D. Peterson's name. I don't recall when I got the bracelet - sometime in the early 70's when I was in Junior High. This tangible evidence of his status as an MIA (and all the associated thoughts about his family) brought home the war to an otherwise clueless teen ager, in an otherwise clueless circle of adults and friends. I hope this provides some small comfort to his family and friends - that he is not forgotten. Sep 20, 2013 |

Mary  Cobb USA I got my bracelet with your name on it while a freshman in college. I wore it always until it finally broke into two pieces, several years later. It is safe and sound in my memory box. I hope you are safe and sound, Delbert, whether on this earth or in the arms of God. You would be 72 years old, now. One day, I hope to say, 'Welcome home!' Nov 2, 2011 |
