Looking for anyone who knew Joe or served with him in Vietnam. He was killed in Quang Ngai, S. Vietnam, May 20, 1967. Our family was changed forever. We have not forgotten him, and love him and miss him very much. After 36 years of suppressing my sadness, I am beginning my search to find anyone who knew him and served with him. He was awarded the Bronze Star with "V" insignia for Valor. My family lives in San Jose', California. He was my big brother.

Vietnam vets and Type 2 Diabetes
. . Contributed By John K. Sweetman On Tuesday, September 16, 2003
It is estimated that up to 10% of surviving Vietnam veterans suffer with Type 2 Diabetes. This affliction is now presumed to be a result of exposure to Agent Orange and it is considered to be a service connected disability. If you have been diagnosed with this condition you are entitled to free medical supplies and care relating to your condition and monthly disability compensation. Contact your local VA representative or the Disabled American Veterans for information on how to initiate your claim.
