We got engaged in Hawaii He was with CRIP as part of HHC, 1st Battalion, (Mech), 2nd Brigade, 5th Infantry (Bobcats), 25th Infantry Division (Tropical Lightning) located at Cu Chi arriving in-country on February 25, 1969. Joe was KIA in BINH DUONG, SOUTH VIETNAM on Dec 9, 1969. He was killed by a booby trap. He died last year and they cant even say what caused it, but we know he died in 68. I was trying to find out who to contact to get his name added to the wall because Vietnam killed him, it just took 30 plus years to do it.Thank you

He fathered a child with a woman named Cookie. James is aware of the child, whom he named Suzy Wong. She was born in 1970 or 1972. SFC Billy Charles . . Contributed By MSG Don Pruitt, US Army Retired On Sunday, February 06, 2005 Tomorrow will be 38 years since Billy was killed by a claymore mine in Vietnam. Billy was a great American and Soldier who loved his country and his family. He was a tough Airborne Ranger who entered the Army at 16 years of age. He was proud of the uniform and always volunteered to take on the most challenging tasks, no matter how risky. He would be extremely proud of our fighting men and women of today's military who are fighting the war against terriorism. Rest in peace. God Bless America.

My husband PFC - E3 Edward J. Cormier was killed there. This May 21, 2005 the town of Barre, MA will be dedicating a bridge in town in his memory.
