davy b davybaker@suddenlink.net Another Brother Kilgore, Tx. Remembrance Missing you each year, never gets any easier. 1963, was our last Christmas, together and I still have, the little green gift tag, 'from the other Bakers.' Some, of the other family want it, but they'll get it, when my will, is read. THE WALL website is very much, a watering hole. I've met your friends, my friends, our friends and made, new ones. I've visited with the surviving Knight clan, several times this year in Mineral Wells, the Nat'l., Viet Nam, War Museum, is being built just up the hill, east, of old FT. Wolters, alias the old home place. Roy's crash site, is being excavated and pieces, of life support equip. and parachute harness, have been identified. I hope it's soon, I know that feeling! I feel tonight, that I could write a book to you, but I'm using space. I'll get a coffee and we'll talk in silence, having been to other sites, I know now, that older brothers, are indeed special. I miss and love you, more each day, til then bro., REST IN PEACE!!! Dec 28, 2008 |

Teresa  Allen Robertson tallen_robertson@hotmail.com Friend 17 Newcastle Drive Nashua NH 03060 USA Always and Forever in Our Hearts You must have been a great big brother your younger brother, Davy, remembers and has reached out to another younger sibling to make sure my brother has not been forgotten either. Your sacrifice and loyalty to this country will live on forever in my heart as well as in the hearts of all that come after me in my family. I will make sure that my decendents not only can put a name to the face of my brother, Keith W. Allen, by to yours also. We will visit 'The Wall - USA' this Christmas and your portrait will be made known to them as well.
Lovely in my heart and in my prayers, Teresa A Robertson Dec 21, 2008 |

Davy Baker davybaker@suddenlink.net Today, would have been, your 75th. (43yrs., 3, mos., 3, wks., 2,days.) Three yrs., since your service. We did well, until BUFF, came over and we ALL 'lost it.' This was, to be closure and I know now, it does not exist! There is only, reluctant acceptance. Your old friend and classmate, Bill Knight, ends his book with this statement, 'The tragedy of war, for all time is that men, of good will and gentle nature, must diminish their souls and minds, so that they must, within the same breast, harbor a love and compassion, for their fellow warriors, while fomenting hate, for fellow human beings, who also loved and hated, to satisfy the need to retrieve equilibrium, in the political world.'
