Thanks
General Hochmuth pinned my Silver Star on me during a brief ceremony at Third Med Battalion in Phu Bai. I will never forget how he looked me in the eyes, gripped my hand, and said "well done Doc". Four short months later, I heard the tragic news of his fatal crash. Semper Fi Sir. It was proud to have served with you.
