Bob Byrnes
I'am a twenty year old college student, from Carmichael, Ca., Of course I was not even born, during Vietnam, but I do have sincere compassion, for all of the men who lost their lives, defending our country. I could never imagine all of the terror, these young men, must have experienced. It is such a shame, that they never got to grow up, have children, or just live. May you, Rest In Peace, Bob

Bob was a year, ahead, of me at La Sierra, High School. He was so much, fun and had, a radiant smile. I was the only girl, in the class and he was protective. I'am sorry, I could not be, at the funeral and have thought about it, for decades. He was a gentle, young man.

Hello Bob, I won't forget the last time, I saw you. It was at JUNEBUGS HOUSE. Shortly after that, I was in basic training myself and only after a month there, I got word from my Folks, that you had given your life for all, back home. Every Valentine's Day, you are remembered by the ones, who loved and knew you..... So you see, my friend, you, are not forgotten.
